1. Parking Assist Disable Switch Inoperative |
The parking assist system can be disabled by pressing the parking assist disable switch. When pressed, the parking assist disable signal circuit is pulled to ground. When parking assist is disabled, the object alarm module also ground the parking assist disable indicator control circuit, illuminating the indicator.
• | DTC B1325 is not set |
• | Ignition voltage is between 9-16 volts. |
The object alarm module has detected that the parking assist disable switch signal circuit is shorted to ground.
• | The parking assist system defaults to the enabled state. |
• | The parking assist disable indicator is not illuminated. |
• | The DTC will transition to history when the fault is no longer present. |
• | A history DTC will clear after 100 malfunction-free ignition cycles. |

Ignition ON, observe the scan tool Park Assist Switch parameter while cycling the parking assist disable switch. The should change between Active and Inactive.
