Circuit | Short to Ground | Open or High Resistance | Short to Voltage | Signal Performance |
---|---|---|---|---|
IGN Voltage | P2534 | P2534 | -- | -- |
The fuel pump flow control module (FPCM) monitors the ignition voltage circuit in order to determine if the voltage is within the normal operating range.
The engine is running.
The FPCM detects that the IGN voltage is less than 6.0 volts.
DTC P2534 is a Type A DTC.
DTC P2534 is a Type A DTC.

Important:
⇒ | If DTC P0562 is set, refer to DTC P0562. |
⇒ | If less than the specified voltage, test the IGN voltage circuit for a short to ground or an open/high resistance. If the circuit test normal and the ECM - IGN fuse 58 is open, test the voltage circuit for a short to ground. If the circuit tests normal, test or replace the Run/Crank relay. |
⇒ | If the resistance is not within the specified range, replace the relay. |
