Preliminary Procedure

1. Open the liftgate and/or rear compartment doors to access the applique panel.
2. Remove the tail lamp assembly. Refer to Tail Lamp Replacement.

Quarter Panel Upper Back Body Opening Frame Retainer (Qty: 2)

Quarter Panel Applique Attaching Finger (Qty: 6)

Quarter Panel Applique Screws (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Rear Quarter Panel Upper Applique

Tip
Upon installation, ensure the back body panel retainers are secure.

1. Align the outboard attaching fingers to the 3 slots in the quarter panel sheet metal. (Refer to sequence.)
2. Push the applique into position until fully seated.
3. Ensure all the retainers are seated properly.
4. Align the applique screw holes to the body retainers.
5. Secure the screws.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)

Rear Quarter Panel Upper Applique

Procedure

1. Align the outboard attachment fingers to the 3 slots in under the bodyside rear quarter window.
2. Push the applique into position until fully seated.
3. Ensure all the retainers are seated properly.
4. Align the applique screw holes to the body retainers.
5. Secure the screw.

Tighten
2 N·m (18 lb in)
