The electronic suspension control module (ESCM) detects an internal malfunction.
The ignition is in the RUN position.
An internal ESCM malfunction exists.
One or more of the following actions may occur:
• | The ESC system is disabled. |
• | The SERVICE SUSPENSION SYS and SPEED LIMITED message is displayed. |
• | The condition for the DTC is no longer present and the DTC is cleared with a scan tool. |
• | The ESCM automatically clears the history DTC when a current DTC is not detected in 100 consecutive drive cycles. The DTC can be cleared with a scan tool. |
Verify DTC C0550 is not current.
⇒ | If DTC C0550 is current, replace the ESCM. |
Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification after completing the diagnostic procedure.
