03-04 Chevrolet/GMC/Cadillac GMT820 and GMT830 Part Restriction on A/C Compressors - kw HVAC noise performance AC cold hot warm inoperative part refrigerant PQC replace CJ3 CJ2 manual leak condenser

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the described symptoms in the PI.

The A/C compressor parts restriction has end June 25, 2004. Part number 15100338 can now be order directly from GM SPO.

Starting on April 12th, 2004 engineering will be conducting a Part Restriction on the A/C compressor for the 2003/2004 Chevrolet Tahoe, Suburban, GMC Yukon, Yukon XL, Denali, Denali XL, the Cadillac Escalade and Escalade ESV. This only involves one part number. This restriction will be for a very limited time and we are looking to gather some very specific information for engineering analysis. The restricted part numbers for the A/C compressor is:
