The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Condition/Concern:

Some inquires concerning a "Check Tire Pressure" message have been received after the wheels/tires have been swapped from another vehicle. The tire pressure sensors will learn to the vehicle and there will be no "Service Tire Monitor" message. It may be noticed when reviewing the TPM (Tire Pressure Monitor) Data, with the Tech 2, that the tire pressures are incorrect.

Example: All tire pressures may be set at 35 psi (241 kPa) but the TPM data will display all the tire pressures at 18 psi (124 kPa). This could be caused by the wrong tire pressure sensors installed.

Recommendation/Instructions:

There was a change to the tire pressure sensors in 2005. Make sure the correct part number sensors are installed.
