Preliminary Procedure

1. Lower the front of the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement .
2. Remove the upper instrument panel (I/P) defroster grille. Refer to Instrument Panel Upper Trim Panel with Windshield Defroster Nozzle Grille Replacement .
3. Remove the instrument panel compartment door. Refer to Instrument Panel Compartment Door Replacement .
4. Remove the interface communication module. Refer to Communication Interface Module Replacement .

Navigation/Cellular Coaxial Cable

Tip

1. If the coaxial antenna cable is taped in the wiring harness then just cut the ends off at the interface communication module and the antenna connection and route the new harness next to the old and use tie straps as needed to secure routing.
2. If needed use a piece of mechanics wire or suitable equivalent to route new cable through windshield pillar and I/P area.
