This Bulletin provides current information regarding both the initial GRAM ordering procedure as well as the procedure to change the total number of GRAM microfiche sets each dealer receives.
The GRAM (General Motors Rapid Access Microfiche) program provides one copy of the following microfiche publications in each set:
- Current Year Service Manuals - Campaign Bulletins from 1981 to Current Model Year - Dealer Service Information Bulletins from 1980 to Current Model Year - Serviceman Bulletins from 1981 to Current Model Year - Labor Time Guides from 1974 to Current Model Year - Quick Reference Guide - Operations Not in L.T.G.
One set is supplied at no charge to each dealership enrolled in the program. Additional sets are available at a cost of $30.00 each. See Addendum "A" on the back of the attached order form.
Although each new dealership (less than two years old) will receive an initial GRAM Microfiche set when ordering a "New Dealer Set-Up Package", this does not automatically enroll the dealership in the program. Each new dealership must fill out the attached order form to enroll in the GRAM program and indicate the total number of sets they wish to receive (total should include the one free set).
A dealership already enrolled in the GRAM program wishing to change the number of sets currently received, should also fill out the attached order form and indicate the total number of sets they wish to receive (total should include the one free set).
Dealerships may obtain additional quantities of the attached GRAM order form from their Zone Office.
It is recommended that you also review the other areas in the Dealer Sales and Service Agreement and the Policies and Procedures Manual regarding disclosure in these and other situations.

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
