ISO-MOUNT 'MINI-MAST' ANTENNA SERVICE PARTS

NEW ISO-MOUNT ANTENNA SERVICE PARTS - 1981-1983 CADILLACS

The following Iso-Mount "Mini-Mast" (23mm tube) service parts are available through GMWDD for use in servicing all Cadillac Iso-Mount "Mini-Mast" (23min tube) or Iso-Mount "Slim-Line" (29mm tube) antenna assemblies. The Iso-Mount design can be identified by two rubber grommets securing the motor housing to the mast (see Figure 1).

The Iso-Mount "Slim-Line" antenna was introduced in 1981 on Eldorado ("E") and Seville ("K") and in 1982 on Deville/Brougham ("C"), Limousine ("D") and Commercial Chassis ("Z"). Since approximately May, 1982, the Iso-Mount "Mini-Mast" antenna has been installed in all Cadillacs equipped with power antennas.

Additional parts may be required to adapt the 23mm "Mini-Mast" service parts to vehicles originally equipped with a 29mm "Slim-Line" antenna. Please read all "notes" and "comments" carefully to assure all of the required parts are ordered.

(1) 1st desion has upper crush mount (see Figure 2).

RF pin and seal included.

RF housing (P/N 22038652) required if coaxial cable connector is threaded design (see Figure 4). (RF housing may be included in later service packages.)

(4) Cup spacer (P/N 22038660) required if installing 23mm "Mini-Mast" tube on a 29mm "Slim-Line" motor housing. (Cup spacer may be included in later service packages.)

(5) Recently released for servicing top section of mast and drive cable separately.

NOTICE: When adapting service mast for a threaded coaxial cable connector, service RF housing (P/N 22038652) must be used. Production antenna RF housing has a longer thread length and will not allow RF pin to fully seat against the mast.
