2. Working through access hole in door inner panel, trim rubber between glass and lower sash channel flush with upper surface of sash channel.

3. Apply either 3M Channel Bond Adhesive P/N 08640 or 08641 available locally or Dominion Sure Seal Epoxo 89 P/N XE89 available through:

Dominion Sure Seal, 5496 Gorvan Drive, MISSISSAUGA, ONTARIO L4W 3E6 PHONE: 416-625-7900

along inner surface between glass and sash channel. Refer to Fig. 1.

IMPORTANT: The adhesive must flow between the glass and sash channel for proper repair.

General Motors bulletins are intended for use by professional technicians, not a "do-it-yourselfer". They are written to inform those technicians of conditions that may occur on some vehicles, or to provide information that could assist in the proper service of a vehicle. Properly trained technicians have the equipment, tools, safety instructions and know-how to do a job properly and safely. If a condition is described, do not assume that the bulletin applies to your vehicle, or that your vehicle will have that condition. See a General Motors dealer servicing your brand of General Motors vehicle for information on whether your vehicle may benefit from the information.
