SOME OWNERS MAY COMMENT THAT THE FLASH-TO-PASS FEATURE USES THE LOW BEAMS RATHER THAN THE HIGH BEAMS. FOR 1993 TO 1995, FLASH-TO-PASS WAS NOT AVAILABLE ON CANADIAN VEHICLES WITH DAYTIME RUNNING LIGHTS (DRL).
THE TERMINALS IN THE CONNECTOR TO THE HEADLIGHT DIMMER SWITCH WERE REVERSED. THIS WAS CORRECTED FOR 1996 PRODUCTION ABOUT SEPTEMBER 26, 1995.
LOCATE THE CONNECTOR TO THE HEADLAMP DIMMER SWITCH ON THE LEFT SIDE OF THE STEERING COLUMN. UNPLUG THE CONNECTOR, THEN REMOVE TERMINALS A AND C AND REINSTALL IN THE OPPOSITE CAVITIES. PLUG THE CONNECTOR BACK IN, THEN CHECK TO MAKE SURE THE HIGH BEAMS COME ON WITH FLASH-TO-PASS.

GENERAL MOTORS BULLETINS ARE INTENDED FOR USE BY PROFESSIONAL TECHNICIANS, NOT A "DO-IT-YOURSELFER". THEY ARE WRITTEN TO INFORM THOSE TECHNICIANS OF CONDITIONS THAT MAY OCCUR ON SOME VEHICLES, OR TO PROVIDE INFORMATION THAT COULD ASSIST IN THE PROPER SERVICE OF A VEHICLE. PROPERLY TRAINED TECHNICIANS HAVE THE EQUIPMENT, TOOLS, SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS AND KNOW-HOW TO DO A JOB PROPERLY AND SAFELY. IF A CONDITION IS DESCRIBED, DO NOT ASSUME THAT THE BULLETIN APPLIES TO YOUR VEHICLE, OR THAT YOUR VEHICLE WILL HAVE THAT CONDITION. SEE A GENERAL MOTORS DEALER SERVICING YOUR BRAND OF GENERAL MOTORS VEHICLE FOR INFORMATION ON WHETHER YOUR VEHICLE MAY BENEFIT FROM THE INFORMATION.
