WHEEL COVER OPTION INFORMATION

This bulletin outlines information for the 1986 RWD Fleetwood Brougham wheel/wheel cover options. The information is presented in three sections:

Section I: Deluxe Wheel Covers (Option Codes PB1 and PB2)

Section II: Wire Wheel Covers (Option Code N91)

Section III:Wire Wheels (Option Code PH8)

I. Deluxe Wheel Cover

A. Wheel Usage

The deluxe wheel cover is standard equipment on the Fleetwood Brougham. These covers are designed to fit on 15 inch steel wheels only.

NOTICE: Do not attempt to install deluxe wheel covers on fabricated aluminum wheels (refer to Section II on Wire Wheel Covers).

B. Deluxe Wheel Cover Parts Information

Deluxe wheel covers are available from GMWDD using the following part numbers: Part Number Painted Silver Cover (PB2) ----------- Cover Asm. 1631097

II. Wire Wheel Cover (N91)

A. Fabricated Aluminum Wheels

Fleetwood Broughams equipped with the wire wheel cover option will have fabricated aluminum wheels. Fabricated aluminum wheels are painted black and took very much like steel. Fabricated aluminum wheels can be identified using a magnet; a magnet will not attract to aluminum.

Wire wheel cover parts are produced by Norris Industries and are available from GMWDD using the foliowing part number information:

III.Wire Wheels (PH8)

A. Wire Wheel Parts Information

1. Lock Nuts

Lock nuts are available from McGard; requests must be submitted on dealership stationery. Include the color code of the lock key and a check for $4.50 for each lock nut requested.

2. Lock Keys

Lock keys can be ordered using an order form provided in the McGard/Cadillac Dealership Packet sent to all dealerships in 1979. When ordering include the color code. The color code can be determined from the ID/registration card or by using the McGard master key set.

3. Wire Wheel

Wire wheel parts are available from GMWDD using the following part numbers.

B. Dealership Packet and Master Key Set

Dealers who need a McGard/Cadillac Dealership Packet, and/or a McGard master key set should call or write the following:

Dealers may obtain order forms or pre-paid McGard envelopes by sending a request to McGard on dealership stationery. These written requests must include an authorized signature.
