NOISE FROM THE FUEL TANK (REPLACE FUEL TANK)

MODELS AFFECTED: 1988-1989 BROUGHAMS

Some 1988-1989 Broughams may exhibit a noise from the fuel tank which may be noted when the rear wheels contact a speed bump, railroad tracks, or a pothole. This condition may be caused by "oil canning" of the fuel tank.

To address this condition, strengthening ribs have been added to the fuel tank lower half. To repair this condition install fuel tank, P/N 10174964.
