LOOSE DOOR WINDOW SWITCH PLATE REPAIR PROCEDURE

VEHICLES AFFECTED: ALL 1985 'C' STYLES

Notice:

This bulletin supersedes 85-2-128,dated Feb.28,1985. Change made in recommended materials.

If a condition is encountered where the door window switch plate base,it may be repaired as follows:

1. Using 3M-8984, or equivalent solvent, thoroughly clean cementing surfaces.

2. Using 3M-8101 structual adhesive, Loctite Quick Jel (SGGA) or equivalents, recement escutcheon to switch plate base. Follow manufacturer's label directions for bonding.
