VEHICLES AFFECTED: 1982-90 "C, E, K, V, MODELS WITH 4.1L AND 4.5L V-8 ENGINES

THIS BULLETIN SUPERSEDES AND REPLACES CORPORATE BULLETIN REFERENCE NUMBER 816103. THIS BULLETIN IS BEING REVISED TO ADD ADDITIONAL MODEL YEARS AND INCLUDE NEW PART NUMBERS.

This summary of main bearing applications is intended to clarify current bearing availability and to identify which bearings are in 1982-90 engines. For 1991 and later applications refer to Corporate bulletin number 216104. This information is not intended to supersede the GMSPO parts books and future parts catalog revisions. Superseded part numbers will be handled through GMSPO. The position is contained in General Motors of Canada Service Bulletin 84-6-218 and Cadillac Service Bulletin T-84-5C as well as 1987 and later Service Information Manuals. This procedure applies to all 4.1 L and 4.5L V8 engines.
