Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 2008 🢒 SLS 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Controls and Fuel - 2.8L, 3.0L, 3.2L, or 3.6L 🢒 Throttle Body Assembly Replacement

Removal Procedure
  1. Turn the ignition OFF.
  2. Remove the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement .

    3. Notice: Refer to Disengaging Connectors Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Remove the throttle body electrical connector.

    4. Object Number: 1285256 Size: SH
  4. Unlock and reposition the wiring harness conduit.

    5. Object Number: 1285255 Size: SH
  5. Remove the throttle body bolts.
  6. Remove the throttle body and gasket.

Installation Procedure
  1. Carefully clean the throttle body mounting surfaces of any gasket and/or seal material.

    2. Object Number: 1285255 Size: SH
  2. Install the throttle body and NEW gasket.

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the throttle body bolts.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the throttle body bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  4. Install the wiring harness conduit.

    5. Object Number: 945417 Size: SH
  5. Install the throttle body electrical connector.
  6. Install the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement .
  7. Perform the idle learn procedure. Refer to Idle Learn .
  8. Clear any DTCs with a scan tool.
