    Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1346220 Size: SH
  1. Install the engine front cover fitting.

    2. Tighten
    Tighten the engine front cover fitting to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).


    Object Number: 1254524 Size: SH
  2. Install the NEW thermostat gasket onto the thermostat.

    3. Object Number: 1254523 Size: SH
  3. Install the thermostat and gasket into the thermostat housing.

    4. Object Number: 1254521 Size: SH
  4. Install the thermostat housing.
  5. Install the thermostat housing bolts.

    6. Tighten
    Tighten the thermostat housing bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).

  6. Install the NEW water pump O-ring.

    7. Object Number: 1040709 Size: SH
  7. Install the water pump.
  8. Install the water pump bolts.

    9. Tighten
    Tighten the water pump bolts to 10 N·m (89 lb in).
