Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 1371674 Size: SH
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Disconnect the exhaust system from the rear exhaust hangers.
  3. Remove the bracket side nuts.
  4. Remove the bottom bolts.

  5. Disconnect the ALC electrical harness connector.
  6. Carefully lower the ALC compressor assembly.
  7. Disconnect the air tube from the ALC compressor.
  8. Disconnect the bleed hose from the clip.
  9. Remove the air compressor assembly from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1371674 Size: SH
  1. Connect the bleed hose to the clip.
  2. Connect the air tube to the ALC compressor.
  3. Install the electrical connector to the ALC compressor bracket.
  4. Connect the ALC electrical harness connector.
  5. Install the ALC bracket side mounting nut.

    6. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1371668 Size: SH
  6. Install the ALC bracket mounting bolts.

    7. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  7. Connect the exhaust system to the rear exhaust hangers.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
