Rear Compartment Lid Release Switch Replacement Interior

1. Remove the left front door trim panel. Refer to Side Door Sill Nameplate Replacement.



2. Push out the rear compartment release switch from behind the map bag under the front door trim plate.

1. Install the rear compartment release switch to the map bag under the front door trim plate.



2. Install the left front door trim panel. Refer to Side Door Sill Nameplate Replacement.

Rear Compartment Lid Release Switch Replacement Compartment Lid

1. Using a flat-bladed tool, carefully remove the switch from the outside of the rear compartment lid.
2. Disconnect the electrical connector.

1. Connect the electrical connectors.
2. Push the switch into the compartment sill plate and secure the retaining tab.
