Important: The following information lists the most probable cause of the concern to the least probable cause. If the test determines that replacing the parts is needed, always inspect for the poor connections before performing the replacement. Refer to Testing for Intermittent Conditions and Poor Connections and Connector Repairs.

1. The voice prompt output circuit open or shorted, test the audio prompt circuit for an open, short to ground or voltage. Refer to Circuit Testing and Wiring Repairs.
2. Radio Malfunction - Replace the radio. Refer to Control Module References.
3. Amplifier Malfunction - Replace the amplifier. Refer to Control Module References.
