Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the vacuum brake booster pushrod.

    2. Object Number: 1392546 Size: SH
  2. Disconnect the electrical connector from the brake apply sensor (BAS) (1).

    3. Object Number: 2006827 Size: SH
  3. Remove the 4 brake pedal assembly to cowl mounting nuts (1).
  4. Remove the 2 side parking brake pedal assembly mounting bolts (2).

Installation Procedure
  1. Install the adjustable brake pedal assembly to the vehicle.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 2006827 Size: SH
  2. Install the 4 brake pedal assembly to cowl mounting nuts (1).
  3. Install the 2 side parking brake pedal assembly mounting bolts (2).

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the nut to 25 N·m (18 lb ft).

  4. Connect the electrical connector to the BAS (1).
  5. Install the vacuum brake booster pushrod.
  6. Reposition and secure the steering column assembly. Refer to Steering Column Replacement.
