J 25070 Heat Gun

1. Apply the heat using a circular motion for about 30 seconds holding the J 25070 , 152 mm (6 in) from the surface, heat the trim strip to 21-32°C (70-90°F).



2. Remove the door trim edge from the surface with a plastic, flat-bladed tool.
3. Using the 3 MTM Scotch Brite trim adhesive cleaner (3MTMP/N07501) or equivalent, remove all adhesives on the door panel.
4. Using Varnish Makers and Painters (VMP) naphtha to clean the door panel surface and then dry it well.

1. Apply the heat using a circular motion for about 30 seconds holding the J 25070 , 152 mm (6 in) from the surface, heat the lower portion of door to 21-32°C (70-90°F).

Important: Do not touch the adhesive backing on the trim.

2. Remove the protective liner from the back of the door trim.
3. Locate the door trim locating pin onto the door trim hole.
4. Apply equal pressure along the trim to uniformly bond the item to the mounting surface.
