Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Inlet Hose Replacement LH2

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle .
2. Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Air Deflector Replacement -- Front .



3. Disconnect the power steering reservoir inlet hose from the power steering cooler.



4. Remove the power steering reservoir inlet hose to frame retaining bolt.
5. Lower the vehicle.



6. Disconnect the power steering reservoir inlet hose from the power steering reservoir.
7. Separate the reservoir inlet pipe from the retainer
8. Remove the power steering cooler pipe/hose from the vehicle.

1. Position the power steering reservoir inlet hose to the vehicle.
2. Connect the power steering reservoir inlet hose to the power steering reservoir.
3. Install the reservoir inlet pipe into the retainer.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




4. Install the power steering reservoir inlet hose to frame retaining bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (88 lb in).




5. Connect the power steering reservoir inlet hose to the power steering cooler.
6. Install the front air deflector. Refer to Air Deflector Replacement -- Front .
7. Lower the vehicle.
8. Remove the drain pan from under the vehicle.
9. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding.

Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Inlet Hose Replacement LY7

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Air Deflector Replacement -- Front .



3. Disconnect the power steering reservoir inlet hose from the power steering cooler.



4. Remove the power steering reservoir inlet hose to frame retaining bolt.
5. Lower the vehicle.



6. Disconnect the power steering reservoir inlet hose from the power steering reservoir.
7. Separate the reservoir inlet and outlet pipe from the retainer.
8. Remove the power steering cooler pipe/hose from the vehicle.

1. Position the power steering reservoir inlet hose to the vehicle.
2. Connect the power steering reservoir inlet hose to the power steering reservoir.
3. Install the reservoir inlet pipe into the retainer.

Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.




4. Install the power steering reservoir inlet hose to frame retaining bolt.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 10 N·m (88 lb in).




5. Connect the power steering reservoir inlet hose to the power steering cooler.
6. Install the front air deflector. Refer to Air Deflector Replacement -- Front .
7. Lower the vehicle.
8. Remove the drain pan under the vehicle.
9. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding.
