Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Outlet Hose Replacement LY7

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Air Deflector Replacement -- Front .
  2. Install a drain pan under the vehicle.
  3. Remove the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement for the 3.6L (LY7) engine.

  4. Object Number: 1300041  Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the power steering reservoir outlet hose from the power steering pump.
  6. Disconnect the power steering reservoir outlet hose from the power steering reservoir.
  7. Remove the power steering reservoir outlet hose.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 1300041  Size: SH
  1. Connect the power steering reservoir outlet hose to the power steering reservoir.
  2. Connect the power steering reservoir outlet hose to the power steering reservoir.
  3. Install the air filter intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Inlet Duct Replacement for the 3.6L (LY7) engine.
  4. Remove the drain pan under the vehicle.
  5. Install the front air deflector. Refer to Air Deflector Replacement -- Front .
  6. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding.

Power Steering Fluid Reservoir Outlet Hose Replacement LH2

Removal Procedure

  1. Remove the front air deflector. Refer to Air Deflector Replacement -- Front .
  2. Place a drain pan under the vehicle.
  3. Remove the air cleaner intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement for the 4.6L (LH2) engine.

  4. Object Number: 888270  Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the power steering reservoir outlet hose from the power steering pump.
  6. Disconnect the power steering reservoir outlet hose from the power steering reservoir.
  7. Remove the power steering reservoir outlet hose.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 888270  Size: SH
  1. Connect the power steering reservoir outlet hose to the power steering reservoir.
  2. Connect the power steering reservoir outlet hose to the power steering reservoir.
  3. Install the air filter intake duct. Refer to Air Cleaner Outlet Duct Replacement for the 4.6L (LH2) engine.
  4. Remove the drain pan from under the vehicle.
  5. Install the front air deflector. Refer to Air Deflector Replacement -- Front .
  6. Bleed the power steering system. Refer to Power Steering System Bleeding.
