Removal Procedure
- Remove the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement .
- Remove the sunroof control console.
- Disconnect the electrical connectors from the sunroof motor and control module.
- Cut the electrical harness to the harness clip.
- Remove the rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Sill Trim Plate Replacement .
- Disconnect the electrical harness retainer from the rear sunroof drain hose.
- Disconnect the electrical connector (1) from the main electrical harness (2).
- Be careful to pull out the harness through the shoulder belt retractor from the vehicle.
- Remove the electrical harness from the vehicle.
Notice: Note the correct routing of the electrical wiring. Failure to reinstall the wiring properly could result in damage to the wiring.
Installation Procedure
- Install the single end connector behind the shoulder retractor to the rear compartment.
- Connect the electrical connector (1) to the main electrical harness (2).
- Install the rear compartment trim panel. Refer to Rear Compartment Sill Trim Plate Replacement .
- Secure the electrical harness clip to the rear drain hose.
- Connect the electrical connectors to the sunroof motor and control module.
- Position the electrical connector harness clip to the roof headliner.
- Verify the operation of the sunroof.
- Install the headliner. Refer to Headlining Trim Panel Replacement .
