As the engineering and technology center of Shanghai General Motors, Pan-Asian Technology Automotive Center (PATAC) is responsible for design and development, test and determination, engineering support of various series of vehicles for SGM, including pre-sales product engineering and after-sales engineering support.
Aftersales engineering support provides all around engineering support for vehicle diagnosis and test, service and adjustment, service parts and other technical information support for SGM aftersales services. PATAC aftersales engineering is responsible for developing service manual, diagnostic programming TIS disc, part catalogue, labor manual, special tool list, service bulletin and owner's manual as well as other aftersales engineering technological materials used for vehicle service and repairment.
The service manual has included major service technological information on the designated vehicle models available at the date of releasing.
