Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 729836 Size: SH
  1. Remove the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .
  2. Remove rear floor console (only 4.6 premium). Refer to Rear Floor Console Replacement .
  3. Remove the rear compartment trims. Refer to Rear Compartment Sill Trim Plate Replacement .
  4. Remove rear seat back frame fixing nuts from the rear compartment.

    5. Object Number: 2020639 Size: SH
  5. Remove rear seat back frame and bolts and nuts connecting with the guide and body.
  6. Disconnect the electrical connector, take out rear seat back.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 2020639 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connector, install the rear seat back.

    2. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  2. Install rear seat back frame and bolts and nuts connecting with adjuster and body.

    3. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 30 N·m (22 lb ft).

  3. Install rear seat back frame fixing nuts from the rear compartment.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 9 N·m (80 lb ft).

  4. Install the rear compartment trims. Refer to Rear Compartment Sill Trim Plate Replacement .
  5. Install the rear floor console. Refer to Rear Floor Console Replacement .
  6. Install the rear seat cushion. Refer to Rear Seat Cushion Replacement .
