Key lock cylinder hole is designed to restrain other vehicle keys from inserting into the current core. All locks of the vehicle have a separate key.
The key identification depends on the four-number key code on the key label. After recording the code, strike the plug from the key. Only key device suppliers are familiar with the coding list, which determines the coding number cluster of the key.
Perform the following steps after determining the key codes according to code list or key code graphics.
The new lock cylinder can be ordered from Service Parts Garage, also equipped with a new lock rod. The lock pin can also be provided and it must install the lock cylinder under the suggested methods. Additional information shown as below:
All lock pins have same shape, with different notch location at side. Insert the key into the cylinder and lower the pin at proper height, to align all notches on the pin. When the six notches on the pin is in an unbroken line, the two small springs push the side strip into the notch, the lock cylinder can be rotated in the lock hole. Five types of lock pins used in lock making, each type has a code with marking number 1 to 5.
