Removal Procedure
  1. Remove the driver side instrument panel (I/P) insulator closeout panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement - Left Side .

    2. Object Number: 1233592 Size: SH
  2. Remove the bolt (1) securing the brake pedal position switch to the brake panel bracket.
  3. Remove the switch.

Installation Procedure

    Object Number: 1233592 Size: SH
  1. Connect the electrical connector on the switch.
  2. Align the brake panel position switch to the stud (3).

    3. Notice: Refer to Fastener Notice in the Preface section.

  3. Install the bolt (1) securing the brake panel position switch to the brake panel bracket.

    4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt (1) to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  4. Install the driver side instrument panel (I/P) insulator closeout panel. Refer to Instrument Panel Insulator Replacement - Left Side .
  5. Recalibrate the brake pedal position (BPP) sensor. Refer to Brake Pedal Position Sensor Calibration .
