Makes 🢒 Cadillac 🢒 2009 🢒 SLS 🢒 Engine 🢒 Engine Mechanical - 4.6L (LH2) 🢒 Starter Removal

  1. Remove the engine coolant temperature (ECT) sensor from the rear of the right cylinder head.

    2. Object Number: 928184 Size: SH
  2. Remove the knock sensor (KS) and crankshaft position (CKP) sensor wiring harness bolt (1).
  3. Disconnect the KS/CKP sensor wiring harness connectors from the KS and the CKP sensor.
  4. Disconnect the KS/CKP sensor wiring harness from the attaching points in the center, back and front of block valley.

    5. Object Number: 928189 Size: SH
  5. Remove the KS/CKP sensor wiring harness.

    6. Object Number: 928196 Size: SH
  6. Loosen the KS bolts.
  7. Remove the KS.

    8. Object Number: 928205 Size: SH
  8. Remove the CKP sensor bolt.
  9. Remove the CKP sensor.

    10. Object Number: 1761746 Size: SH
  10. Remove and discard the CKP sensor O-ring.

    11. Object Number: 928212 Size: SH
  11. Remove the starter motor bolts.
  12. Remove the starter motor and starter motor wiring harness.
