  1. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Upper Hinge and Lower Hinge Replacement or Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
  2. Pull down the upper portion of the water deflector far enough to access the window clamp nuts. Refer to Water Deflector, Check Link Replacement - Rear Door .
  3. Loosen the window regulator to window clamp nuts 4 revolutions.
  4. Connect the door trim panel wire connector.
  5. Note: Start the vehicle to ensure maximum power to the window motor. This is required in order to fully seat the window for adjustment.

  6. Start the vehicle.
  7. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  8. Using the power window switch, raise the window to the full up position.
  9. Tighten
    Tighten the window clamp nuts to 11 N·m (98 lb in).

  10. Inspect for proper window operation and a tight seal.
  11. Shut off the vehicle.
  12. Install the water deflector. Refer to Water Deflector, Check Link Replacement - Rear Door .
  13. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Upper Hinge and Lower Hinge Replacement or Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
