Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 758981  Size: SH
  1. Raise the window to the full up position.
  2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
  3. Remove the water deflector.
  4. Raise and support the window in the full up position.
  5. Through the access holes in the inner door panel, loosen the window clamp nuts 4 revolutions.
  6. Connect the door trim panel wiring harness.
  7. Lower the window regulator 3/4 of the way down.
  8. Disconnect the electrical connector from the window regulator motor.
  9. Remove the window regulator bolts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5).
  10. Remove the window regulator from the door.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 758981  Size: SH
  1. Install the window regulator into the door.
  2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the window regulator bolts (1, 2, 3, 4, 5).
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  5. Remove the support from the window.
  6. Lower the window into the window regulator clamps.
  7. The window must be fully rearward into the window channel when it is seated in the window clamps.
  8. Connect the power window motor electrical connector.
  9. Note: Start the vehicle to ensure maximum power to the window motor. This is required to fully seat the window for adjustment.

  10. Start the vehicle.
  11. Raise the window to the full up position.
  12. Tighten
    Tighten the window clamp nuts to 11 N·m (95 lb in).

  13. Inspect the window for proper operation and fit.
  14. Shut off the vehicle.
  15. Install the water deflector.
  16. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Front Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
  17. The window motors need to be programmed/initialized whenever power is removed from the window motor. Refer to Window Motor Programming - Express Function.
