Backup Lamp Assembly Replacement

Preliminary Procedure

1. Open the rear compartment lid.
2. Remove the rear compartment lid inner panel trim assembly. Refer to Rear Compartment Trim, Lid, Latch, Strut, Hinge Replacement in Body Rear End.

Backup Lamp Nuts (Qty: 2)

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tighten
6 N·m (53 lb in)

Backup Lamp Assembly

Tip
If only replacing the bulb, turn bulb socket assembly and pull out of the lamp assembly. This can be done from the inside of the rear compartment lid without removing the lamp from the vehicle.
