Headlamp Leveling Switch Replacement Front

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 802719  Size: SH
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  2. Remove the right front tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector (1).

  4. Object Number: 802716  Size: SH
  5. Disconnect the ball and socket (1) from the vehicle.
  6. Remove the bolt (2) from the sensor.
  7. Remove the sensor from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 802716  Size: SH
  1. Position the sensor to the vehicle.
  2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the bolt (2) to secure the sensor to the vehicle.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  5. Install the ball and socket (1) to the sensor.

  6. Object Number: 802719  Size: SH
  7. Connect the electrical connector (1) to the sensor.
  8. Install the right tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  9. Lower the vehicle.

Headlamp Leveling Switch Replacement Rear

Removal Procedure


    Object Number: 802721  Size: SH
  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle
  2. Remove the right rear tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation
  3. Disconnect the electrical connector (2).
  4. Disconnect the ball and socket (3) from the vehicle.
  5. Remove the bolt (1) from the sensor.
  6. Remove the sensor from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 802721  Size: SH
  1. Position the sensor (3) to the vehicle.
  2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

  3. Install the bolt (1) to secure the sensor (4) to the vehicle.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolt to 9 N.m (80 lb in).

  5. Install the ball and socket (3) to the sensor (4).
  6. Connect the electrical connector (2) to the sensor (4).
  7. Install the right tire and wheel assembly. Refer to Tire and Wheel Removal and Installation.
  8. Lower the vehicle.
