  1. Remove the shift control knob. Refer to Transmission Control Lever Knob Replacement .
  2. Remove the center console assembly. Refer to Front Floor Console Replacement .

Tip

    • Remove the shift indicator lamp sockets from the shift indicator by rotating the lamp sockets 1/4 turn counterclockwise.
    • Install the shift indicator lamp sockets to the shift indicator. Rotate each lamp socket 1/4 turn clockwise to lock in place.
