Removal Procedure
- Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to
Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
- Remove the exhaust system. Refer to
Exhaust System Replacement.
- Support the transmission with a suitable jack and a block of wood.
- Remove the vent pipe from the clamp on transmission mount, if equipped,
- Remove the transmission mount support to body mounting bolts.
- Remove the transmission mount support to transmission mounting bolts.
- Remove the transmission mount support assembly from the vehicle.
Installation Procedure
- Install the transmission mount support assembly to the vehicle.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.
- Install the transmission mount support to transmission mounting bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 63 N·m (46 lb ft).
- Install the transmission mount support to body mounting bolts.
Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 58 N·m (43 lb ft).
- Check whether there have vent pipe under the body.
4.1. | If vent pipe equipped, check whether there are two holes position on (1) and (2), if there is no hole, drill two 6 mm hole at (1) and (2), |
4.2. | When there is no vent pipe, no need to do step 4.1. |
- If equipped, install the clamp on the mount hole.
- If equipped, install the vent pipe to clamp.
- Remove the transmission jack.
- Install the exhaust system.
- Lower the vehicle.
