Rear Bumper Impact Bar Assembly Replacement

Preliminary Procedures

1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
2. Remove the rear wheelhouse liner panels. Refer to Rear Wheelhouse Panel Liner Replacement.

Rear Bumper Fascia Screw

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.

Tip
The screws are in the wheel opening.

Tighten
3 N·m (27 lb in)

Compartment Sill Trim Plate Assembly

Rear Bumper Fascia Screw (Qty: 4)

Tighten
6 N·m (5  lb in)

Rear Bumper Fascia Retainer (Qty: 3)

Tip
Remove the retainer with inclined cutter, replace with new retainer while installing.

Rear Bumper Fascia Assembly

Tighten
6 N·m (53 lb in)

Rear Bumper Impact Bar Bolt (Qty: 8)

Tighten
25 N·m (18 lb ft)
