Cigarette Lighter Receptacle Replacement for Cadillac SLS 2009

1. Remove the front floor console extension panel. Refer to Front Floor Console Extension Panel Replacement.



2. Remove the bolts securing the ashtray cigar lighter assembly trim panel.



3. Pry out the ashtray cigar lighter assembly trim panel, disconnect the electrical connector and remove the ashtray cigar lighter assembly.

1. Connect the electrical connector and install the ashtray cigar lighter assembly trim panel.

Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.




2. Install the bolts securing the ashtray cigar lighter assembly trim panel.

Tighten
Tighten the bolts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

3. Install the front floor console extension panel. Refer to Front Floor Console Extension Panel Replacement.
