Removal Procedure
- Pry off the seat to access the floor front retaining foot of trim cover.
- Pry off the seat to access the floor front retaining foot of trim cover.
- Insert the special tool into the hole on the exterior trim panel, and release the safety belt buckle.
- Remove the bolts retaining seat to the floor.
- Disconnect the electrical connector.
- Move the seat rearward in order to disengage the fixation hook of the seat front adjuster from the floor slot and then take the front seat out.
Installation Procedure
- Place front seat in the vehicle, recline the seat in order to engage the fixation hook of the seat adjuster into the floor slot.
- Connect the electrical connectors.
- Install the bolts retaining front seat to the floor.
- Install the safety belt buckle.
- Install the trim cover of the bolt retaining front seat to the floor.
- Install the trim cover of the fixation foot which retains front seat to the floor.
Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.
Tighten
Tighten the bolt to 42N·m(31 lb ft).
