Removal Procedure

  1. Raise and support the vehicle. Refer to Lifting and Jacking the Vehicle.
  2. Remove the exhaust system. Refer to Exhaust System Replacement.
  3. Support the transmission with a suitable jack and a block of wood.

  4. Object Number: 1649726  Size: SH
  5. Remove the vent pipe from the clamp on transmission mount, if equipped,
  6. Remove the transmission mount support to body mounting bolts.
  7. Remove the transmission mount support to transmission mounting bolts.
  8. Remove the transmission mount support assembly from the vehicle.

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the transmission mount support assembly to the vehicle.
  2. Caution: Refer to Fastener Caution in the Preface section.


    Object Number: 1649726  Size: SH
  3. Install the transmission mount support to transmission mounting bolts.
  4. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 63 N·m (46 lb ft).

  5. Install the transmission mount support to body mounting bolts.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 58 N·m (43 lb ft).

  7. Check whether there have vent pipe under the body.
  8. 4.1. If vent pipe equipped, check whether there are two holes position on (1) and (2), if there is no hole, drill two 6 mm hole at (1) and (2),
    4.2. When there is no vent pipe, no need to do step 4.1.
  9. If equipped, install the clamp on the mount hole.
  10. If equipped, install the vent pipe to clamp.
  11. Remove the transmission jack.
  12. Install the exhaust system.
  13. Lower the vehicle.
