The navigation radio supplies 6 channels of audio signals to an amplifier. The amplifier supplies 15 output signal channels to 15 speakers.
The radio is ON.
The radio sets a current status for this DTC when a short to ground, short to battery is detected on any of the audio output circuits from the navigation radio.
No sound is present from one or more of the speakers.
The fault condition is not present for 0.25 seconds.

Note: It is recommended that Component Testing is performed before Circuit Testing when diagnosing speaker circuits.
If the DTC was set by the amplifier, test the suspect speaker circuit for a short to ground or short to power.
If all circuits test normal, replace the amplifier.
If all circuits test normal, replace the navigation radio
Perform the Diagnostic Repair Verification after completing the diagnostic procedure.
