This step verifies that Personalization in the driver information center (DIC) is active. The memory mirrors cannot function if Personalization is inactive. A check mark displayed after the word Personalization indicates it is active.
This step verifies that the Personalization Option in the dash integration module (DIM) is activated. The memory mirrors cannot function if the option is turned OFF. An asterisk displayed beside the option indicates that the option is activated.
This step determines if the mirror sensors are capable of sensing mirror position changes.
