Third Row Seat Inoperative After Motor Replacement - keywords 3rd AMO back flip fold part power rear recline rotate

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in the PI.

If diagnosis of the optional power folding third row seat, (RPO AM0), leads a technician to replacement of either the recline motor or the rotation motor, the part numbers in the catalog are currently switched. The seat back rotation, pivot or 180 degree motor is part number 88898297. The recline motor is 88898296. The motors can also be identified by the length of the motor housing. The recline motor is shorter than the rotation motor.

The parts catalog is being updated to reflect the correction.

Please follow this diagnosis process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
