The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.
Condition/Concern:
Some 2004 - 2005 Cadillac SRX may have been built with an incorrect Memory Seat Module (MSM). An incorrect MSM could cause the adjustable pedals to be inoperative.
Recommendation/Instructions:
Vehicles equipped with RPO JF4 (Power Adjustable Pedals) and AL2 (Power Adjustable Lumbar) should have MSM part number 25772169 installed. Vehicles equipped with RPO JF4 (Power Adjustable Pedals) and without AL2 (Power Adjustable Lumbar) should have MSM part number 25764217 installed.
Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
