Removal Procedure

  1. Ensure that the window is fully closed.
  2. Remove the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement .
  3. Remove the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement .

  4. Object Number: 758970  Size: SH
  5. Loosen the lower bolt.
  6. Remove the upper bolt.
  7. Rotate the top of the front window channel forward.
  8. Lift upward on the window channel to disengage the lower bolt from the keyhole slot.
  9. Remove the front window channel from the door.

Installation Procedure


    Object Number: 758970  Size: SH
  1. Install the front window channel into the door, top end first.
  2. Insert the lower bolt into the keyhole slot.
  3. Rotate the top of the front window channel rearward and align on the lower edge of the window.
  4. Notice: Use the correct fastener in the correct location. Replacement fasteners must be the correct part number for that application. Fasteners requiring replacement or fasteners requiring the use of thread locking compound or sealant are identified in the service procedure. Do not use paints, lubricants, or corrosion inhibitors on fasteners or fastener joint surfaces unless specified. These coatings affect fastener torque and joint clamping force and may damage the fastener. Use the correct tightening sequence and specifications when installing fasteners in order to avoid damage to parts and systems.

  5. Install the upper bolt.
  6. Tighten
    Tighten the bolts to 9 N·m (80 lb in).

  7. Install the water deflector. Refer to Rear Side Door Water Deflector Replacement.
  8. Install the door trim panel. Refer to Rear Side Door Trim Panel Replacement.
