Left Front Tire Pressure Reading Is Displayed As A Dash Or DTC C0750 - keywords sensor tire TPM

This PI was superseded to update model years and add graphics. Please discard PIC4496.

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Some customers may comment the Left Front (LF) tire pressure is displayed as a dash. In some cases SERVICE TIRE MONITOR will be displayed and DTC C0750 Left Front Low Tire Pressure Sensor will be stored.

Remove the Passenger Body Side Rear Trim Panel and inspect for the presence of ground patch (1) on the Body Wire Harness. The ground patch (1) should have complete contact with the body harness shielding tape (2) and should contact with the inner sheet metal above and below the body harness. If the ground patch (1) is missing, install a strip of aluminum tape (part number 1229335) across the harness as shown. It is not necessary to remove the paint from the body where the aluminum tape is placed.

Note: Only use part number 1229335 aluminum tape for this repair.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
