The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

Some customers may comment of no start, Service Engine Soon light on or various drivability symptoms. The cause may be water intrusion in the ECM connector.

If evidence of water intrusion is noted in the connector, replace the ECM and wiring harness and return both parts to the Warranty Parts Center. Also, check if the seals on the connector are present, intact or damaged and note that information on the repair order.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
