Power Steering Hose Is Contacting Drive Shaft - keywords leak line noise rub

The following diagnosis might be helpful if the vehicle exhibits the symptom(s) described in this PI.

A customer may comment the power steering gear inlet hose is contacting the left front wheel drive shaft. The cause may be the hose is routed too close to the drive shaft (1).

Reach between the lower control arm and the front stabilizer bar. Grab the power steering inlet hose on the crimp as shown below (2). Pull outboard to reposition it away from the driveshaft.

Please follow this diagnostic or repair process thoroughly and complete each step. If the condition exhibited is resolved without completing every step, the remaining steps do not need to be performed.
