Removal Procedure

    Object Number: 945915 Size: SH
  1. Remove the oil filter. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement .
  2. Remove the air conditioning (A/C) compressor and power steering drive belt. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor and Power Steering Pump Belt Replacement .

    3. Important: Do not disconnect the A/C pipes from the A/C compressor.

  3. Remove the A/C compressor bolts and reposition the A/C compressor in order to gain access to the oil filter adapter fasteners.
  4. Remove the power steering pump bracket bolts and reposition the pump. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement .
  5. Remove the oil filter adapter. Refer to Oil Filter Adapter Removal .

Installation Procedure

  1. Install the oil filter adapter. Refer to Oil Filter Adapter Installation .
  2. Install the power steering pump to the bracket and install the mounting bolts. Refer to Power Steering Pump Replacement .

    3. Tighten in the correct sequence.

  3. Install the A/C compressor with the A/C pipes to the engine. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor Replacement .
  4. Install the A/C compressor and power steering drive belt. Refer to Air Conditioning Compressor and Power Steering Pump Belt Replacement .
  5. Install the oil filter. Refer to Engine Oil and Oil Filter Replacement .
