    • J 34826 Hub Nut Socket - 36 mm
    • J 45006 Pinion Press Pilot
    • J 45012 Pinion Flange Holder
    • J 45019 Flange and Pinion Cage Remover

    Object Number: 777550  Size: SH
  1. Remove the pinion flange nut (1) using J 34826 while holding the flange with the J 45012 and a breaker bar.

  2. Object Number: 777554  Size: SH
  3. Remove the pinion flange from the shaft. If the flange will not pull off, use the J 45019 with forcing screw, bolts and spacers.

  4. Object Number: 777557  Size: SH
  5. Place the pinion cage into a press.
  6. Remove the pinion shaft and bearing from the cage using the J 45006 and a hydraulic press.

  7. Object Number: 777559  Size: SH
  8. Remove the spacer from the pinion shaft.

  9. Object Number: 777561  Size: SH
  10. Install the J 22912-B  (2) onto the pinion shaft, under the inner-bearing race.
  11. Place the pinion shaft in a press to remove the bearing from the shaft.
  12. Install the J 45006  (1) and press the bearing from the pinion shaft.

  13. Object Number: 777562  Size: SH
  14. Remove the pinion oil seal (1) and the pinion bearing (2) from the bearing cage (3).
